AI Identity is the open verification standard, registry, and trust infrastructure for AI agents, MCPs, and intelligent systems. We exist as an independent organization so the entity verifying AI is structurally separate from the labs, platforms, and vendors building it.

We believe the agentic web only works if every AI can prove who it is, who runs it, and what it is authorised to do. We propose this as an open standard, free for individuals, and funded by the organisations and enterprises who depend on it at scale.

Like TLS for websites or DNS for the internet, AI Identity is meant to become invisible infrastructure — quietly making the agent economy safe to build on.
